Started working Wednesday (officially), on RE/MAX FOUR SEASONS VILLA, S. Brás de Alportel. I won't have a constant schedule or salary. Going to start by learning the principals of working as an agent and being part of the company. I'm really enjoying it so far.
My current work is to promote myself and my job as an individual agent by talking to my circle of people, creating an online page for the purpose of RE/MAX work. I also will have to spread my business card, introduction letter and flyers with my profissional picture and contact info.
On other hand, not such great news...
My grandma has been in the hospital for a while now. 2 weeks more or less. She wasn't feeling well for like a week beforehand, but we thought it was only nausea or gastroenteritis... Nothing that couldn't be treated, you know...
Unfortunately, we discovered the worst. Pancreas cancer.
She can't eat or drink at all, and she's so week. The docs say she needs to have surgery but need to perform other tests first.. Yesterday I was with her and they had done an endoscopy, but it didn't go so well because she had internal bleeding 🩸 When she woke up, she threw up about 2L of blood, not even kidding. I was so flabbergasted by the amounts of blood she was spitting that I thought to myself, 'this is it'.
I guess I have to mentally prepare myself for the worst atp. Doc said it was normal since she had internal bleeding and now her body was cleaning itself. But. So much blood? I don't this it's good for her body to lose.
They gave her some medicine for the nausea and inserted some tubes on her nostrils so she wouldn't throw up again.
Today she was supposed to have her surgery in Lisbon, but no way she will go like this.
